Digital interventions and apps for mental health

Digitalisation could be part of the solution to long waiting times in mental health care. Digital interventions and apps can help with depression, anxiety and sleep disorders, among others. Embedding good-quality digital tools in traditional care can counter the proliferation of self-help apps. Good framing for and by healthcare professionals gives the best results. Through a series of new recommendations, the Superior Health Council aims to contribute to the development of such a framework at the national level.
