Meningococcal vaccination (SHC-9485, 2019 update)
The Superior Health Council (SHC) has revised its recommendations for meningococcal vaccination in light of epidemiological trends and new developments in vaccines.
- Adopt universal vaccination against meningococcal serotypes ACWY;
- Public vs individual health: do not adopt universal vaccination against meningococcal serotype B;
- Vaccinate against meningococcal serotype B on a one-to-one basis.
