Catch-up vaccination schedule

The catch-up vaccination schedule of the Superior Health Council enables individuals who have not been vaccinated, who have received an incomplete vaccination series, or whose vaccination status is uncertain, to nonetheless obtain the necessary protection.

In order to be able to propose an appropriate individual catch-up vaccination schedule in the above-mentioned situations, healthcare professionals must:

1. assess the vaccination status and the validity of previously administered doses (i.e. compliance with the minimum age for administration of the first dose and the minimum intervals between doses);
2. determine which vaccines are appropriate and propose an age-appropriate tailored catch-up vaccination schedule, choosing the most pragmatic solution when multiple options are available;
3. administer different vaccines simultaneously at different injection sites, if possible.
