Symposium: Future-proof policy advice – from insight to impact
On 13 May 2026, the Superior Health Council will hold its general meeting, which will focus on future-proof policy advice.
During the symposium, we will reflect on the advisory process and the impact of our advisory reports. Academics who study the scientific advisory process will share their insights on the structures within which policy advice is developed, the role of the work of the various stakeholders involved, and the way in which scientific advice is taken up by policymakers.
In a panel discussion, we will compare these findings with the experience of members of the Superior Health Council. By doing so, we will explore together what we can learn from the research presented to prepare scientific policy advice for the future.
